Evaluation for 'Get over it'

Evaluation

For the filming of our induction task, we collaborated as a group to come up with an idea that all of us agreed on. We decided to portray, by a short film, how people deal with the issue of being gay and how other people react to it. However, we had troubles filming our induction task as someone was always missing during the days we filmed. Our original idea was a slapstick comedy, which we had filmed parts of but on the final filming day our lead actor was missing so we had to re-plan and rethink our idea. Unlike other groups we only had one day to film the whole of our induction task, so I feel if we had longer, we could have experimented with more camera angles and added a bit more detail to the storyline. Overall, I believe that the filming of ‘Get Over It’ was successful by the fact that we only had one lesson to film it and we did a good job with the limited time that we had.
